CD16: It's Sitting Next to the Elephant

I am supposed to be proofreading a chapter right now. I'm trying to, but it's kind of hard to concentrate.

There is sperm in our living room. It's sitting next to the proverbial elephant.

I may post about why the tank makes me feel like a space-age lesbian later.

Back to work.

I would like to add that the container looks like a giant penis. Fitting, given its contents....

We did a pick up at a cryobank in Virginia when we were on vacation once and drove that tank all the way back to Indiana. When we got back, we had to drag the whole thing into our gyno's office. It was at least 2 1/2 feet tall and 2 feet wide. Never again.

And yeah, it totally has a helmet head. That has to be by design. When do you inseminate?

Hell, we still have one in our living room. It's empty now, but for close to two years it contained the makings for baby number two.
It was always a great conversation piece. And gigantic, since it was designed to hold 128 straws. We bought it because it was the smallest one we could buy.

I always feel weird carrying the tank into our home (especially when my students see me coming!) and into the clinic. We store ours at the seperate place then whre I get inseminated to this is an issue every month. I've gotten used to the raised eye brows and the strange looks.

I've got everything crossed for you! I sooooo hope it works!
